On January 11, 2016, Raymond Park Middle School opened its doors to students and families for a Community Outreach Fair. Sponsored by the PTSA, local businesses and community service organizations were available to provide information and services. Representatives included: Citizens Gas and IPL, the Warren Trustees office, Twenty-first Century Scholars, and Indy Go and Blue Indy. Free pizza and drinks, donated by PTSA president, Dr. Rachael Burke, were offered to attendees. We look forward to growing this event and serving the Warren community.
The winter skating party, also sponsored by the PTSA, was held at Roller Cave on February 2nd, 2016. Students (and a couple of brave teachers and one principal) skated, danced, and limbo-ed around this classic Eastside establishment.
Celebrating Valentine’s Day in true middle school style, the annual National Junior Honor Society dance was held after school on Friday, February 12, 2016 in the gym. Dee-jayed by band teacher Mr. Brooks, seventh and eighth grade students shared the gym for dancing and open-gym time. Midway through the event, they were treated to pizza and drinks. Over one-hundred students attended the event.
